Alberta Museums Association
The Alberta Museums Association is a leader and catalyst for dynamic connections among museums and communities.
The AMA was founded in 1971 as a non-profit society through which museum workers could meet for the benefit of Alberta's developing museum community. Today, the AMA counts more than 250 institutions and 300 individuals among its membership of Alberta museums and museum professionals.
The AMA is a member-driven organization that consists of an elected, volunteer Board, an Executive Director, and a Secretariat to provide leadership, aid, and service to the Alberta museum community.
