Recognized Alberta Museum  

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame & Museum provides a family friendly interactive experience.  Be surprised at what you will discover inside.  Have fun, laugh, play together, and discover famous Alberta sports celebrities.  Plan your birthday party, special events, or corporate reception in a unique environment.

The museum has a number of interactive games including a multi-sport area with virtual baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer.  The participant uses real equiptment and kicks, shoots, or throws at the virtual screen.  We also have a Treadwall climbing wall and golf putting area to challenge you and your family.  Other interactive games include the 200m wheelchair race and "You Call The Play" Pressbox.  There are a number of other interactives for your family to discover!

Highlights:

The Hall of Fame Gallery includes photos and biographies of athletes, builders, teams, and award recipients. In addition to numerous permanent galleries, the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum showcases a variety of changing exhibits throughout its exhibit space.  With over 17,000 collections artefacts, there is always something unique and interesting to discover. 

New Featured Exhibit: Hometown Sports 
This exhibits welcomes visitors to step back in time and explore the history of sports in the Red Deer area.

Installed in preparation for Rogers' Hometown Hockey's visit to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame on November 30, 2019, the exhibit features artefacts from the Red Deer Rebels, the Red Deer Rustlers, the World Junior Hockey Championships, the Canada Winter Games and the Red Deer Amazons women's hockey team of the 1930's.
